Golden Milk Oatmeal (Vegan, Healthy, anti-inflammatory)

Turmeric oatmeal is the perfect winter breakfast. It’s super nourishing, warming and worth waking up for. If you haven’t tried turmeric, here’s your chance to try it out in this healthful breakfast.

I am in love with this turmeric oatmeal. Well, I keep falling in love with anything that has turmeric. Seriously considering changing the name of my blog to ‘a dash of turmeric’. Sounds awesome, right? Maybe ‘a pinch of turmeric’ would be better.

I created this recipe a few months ago and I’m not sure why I have waited this long to share it with you all. Oh well, that doesn’t matter now because it’s finally here and you are going to love it.

In case you haven’t heard of it, turmeric is so HOT right now. This powerful spice has a glowing list of uses and health benefits. It is well-known for its natural anti-inflammatory properties and powerful antioxidants.

This porridge is deliciously creamy and will warm any cold heart. The turmeric adds an exotic and earthy flavour to the porridge. I topped it up with banana, peanut butter, dark chocolate, blueberries and chia seeds. I didn’t add any sugar, the banana, and berries provided the perfect hint of sweetness.
