I’m in love with this green smoothie’s flavour combination, I have already had it three mornings in a row. It’s refreshing, and tangy and the kombucha brings in the perfect hint of sweetness. It is a total body nourishment; jam-packed with immune-boosting nutrients.
Kombucha is a fermented tea with friendly bacteria that is optimal for digestion and overall health. I’m a big addict, not only because it’s good for me but also because it’s too damn delicious. You can find more on kombucha here.
5 kale leaves
2 large stalks of celery
1/2 cup (packed) parsley
1 kiwifruit, peeled and chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more if you can handle the heat)
1 cup plain or flavoured kombucha
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve in a mason jar and enjoy.
